![]() Just my luck, he and J Balvin reused the beat in a separate song, and here we are.įirst time I heard this song, I didn’t like it. It has a really annoying hook and the production, while it’s okay, has this really annoying sound throughout that got annoying after a while. And honestly? After checking out a couple of his songs? I kinda like this guy! His biggest hit is Ego, which I gotta admit with the heavy horns and empowering production is kind of awesome, and On s’endort, translating to “We Sleep”, might be even better! Though to be honest there was one song of his I didn’t like, and it’s called Voodoo Song. ![]() Willy William though? He’s a lot more interesting. I didn’t even mention Bobo which is just BORING. I can’t imagine why anyone would want to listen to him when he sounds like a Spanish Post Malone but without the charm or personality Post supposedly has. I looked up another one of his hits, Safari, and while it is better because of some pretty decent African sounding production, J Balvin still underwhelms me with his boring mumbly flow. His voice just sounded obnoxious, and I didn’t like the way he tried to blend reggaeton and R&B, at least not on that song. I didn’t think of it much at first, but as time went on I just got more and more annoyed by it. I remember first hearing him on Ginza, which charted before Despacito was even born. First being J Balvin who, I’ll be frank, I never liked. ![]() Before we get into the song itself, let’s talk about the two artists on display.
